Ibanez Gio Active Bass

This is a great gigging or beginner bass. The active pickups and onboard preamp really push the lows and give it plenty of punch! This bass actually belonged to and was gigged with by the legendary Wrecks Bell who played bass for Lightning Hopkins, Townse Van Zandt, Guy Clark and a host of other music legends. Wrecks also founded the infamous Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe originally in Houston and now in Galveston, Texas. The TVZ song entitled, “Wrecks’s Blues” was written about him.
